Rear brake fail

Looks like the rear brake curse has bitten me too. 1940 miles on a 2021 GT. Mine doesn't appear on the recall list. Its booked in to be bled in 8 days. 2 hours to do apparently as the rear wheel has to be removed.

I found a video about how to do it by yourself the right way with dealertool software. Though, I never had this rear brake issue.

BMW is the worst for the diy mechanic. So many screws!

My rear brake went out at 8,300 miles. Pedal went right to the end of stop with no effect. I could pump it up and get it to work. Dealership says the Master cylinder failed. Took a month to get the part in. Bike was barely out of factory warranty. Triumph fixed it as "good will".
My VIN did not show up on the recall site either.

My dealer has replaced the ABS modulator under warranty to address this issue (about 1 month ago). So far so good. When that rear brake is working properly it is really great!

Yeah, they did mine last as well. It even improved the front brake performance. Hopefully it lasts!

Brake pedal went to the floor around 1500 miles. Had it bled and it’s just done the same thing at 2800 miles.
Triumph just say take it back and get it bled again, but I don’t think that’s (anywhere near) good enough.

Anyone else with this Issue?

After repeated attempts to firm up my foot breaks on 2013 roadster, there a solid pipeline section with connections I took a closer look and seen that it was oily, snug it up and bled the breaks again and they quit going soft (mat have to replace crush washers)

You can check for recalls here: Recalls | NHTSA Even if it doesn't show up, I would call the dealership. Your brakes shouldn't be spongy at all.
