Realistic Fuel Mileage?

My current ride has a 4.5 gallon capacity and I run out at around 140 miles, I probably get around 32-35 mpg realistically. Generally I will fuel up no more than every 120 miles to be on the safe side. I'm getting my R in April and have ran across quite the range of different experiences when it come to mileage, from 17mpg when ripping on the throttle to Triumph claiming 32.5mpg. How far apart do you guys plan your fuel stops when on a road trip?

Normally, when we ride with a group, we see who has the least range and that is our guide, now, if you are talking R3 bike, i gas up every 120 miles, i can go about 150 but never take that chance. Gas mileage varies with every rider, when i ride at steady 75pmh i get around 35 gpm, when i ride to have fun i get around 24, i belive 30 to 36 is the norm on an r3, lets see what the gurus say.

Realistically I get about 16km/L, as I usually just bimble about. This is using E10 fuel. With an 18 litre tank this should give me 288 kms until dry (about 179 miles) but I never have the nerve to see if that is true. I also noticed that Penner's tune seems to be slightly better on fuel then the standard map (sports mode), and also that E5 fuel gives slightly better mileage too

i usually average 15.9 km/l at least i was on my triple black. This new GT i have wont let me see the average fuel consumption. There is a circle with a line running through it beside the icon. I have not encountered this before...anyone know how to correct this please?

If I am riding safe and sane I get around 45mpg.

If i'm cruising between 50 to 70mph I get around 50mpg (UK gals).
The best i've done in similar type of riding is 57mpg on average over a 160mile ride.
That said, if i'm riding with a bit more spirit and verve, the fuel mileage drops noticeably. That said I think 120 miles between fill ups is pretty easy to achieve.

After a little over 73,000 miles on the 2020 GT the computer says I have averaged right at 37 mpg cumulatively. But yea if you hit is hard you will drop down to the teens and if you go easy when in a group you can get in the high 40s. I too usually look for gas every 120 miles or so.

If I'm just riding around, I get between 30-33 MPG US. On longer highway rides at 70-75 MPH, I have seen 40 MPG.

40 mpg and I refuel at 130 miles on the tank.

Who cares? My Roadster is fast, fun, and I don't ride it for mileage.
