hombre--why didn't you go w/ burns reverse cone megaphone? you'll be surprised to know sam used burns advice on regulater's black pipes way back last year. after we talked--come to find out he lives close to them in ca. --he doesn't use stainless (better heat retention/scavenging) . good work/great looking-----john
I had originally planned to use an unbaffled reverse cone megaphone for the widest powerband. But after listening to them on a bike at ARC Fabrication, I decided that Doug called them "Earsplitters" for a good reason. They were race track loud and as obnoxious as a chainsaw. The Burns lightweight race muffler has a deeper "booming" sound, and Vince at Burns showed me that it produces power within 1 percent of a reverse meg. I have to say that the sound of the Burns can is awsome, and I'm sure not lacking in power. Powerband has also been significantly broadened.
