What are the options to upgrade rear suspension?

What options are available to upgrade the rear suspension on a 2006 classic? I'm going to guess the newer 2,5s have better shocks ? .. I'm old school and parshall to an ohlin myself is there something they used to do that can be used ? I have a few VMax gen1s with ohlins but they are very "skinny" compared to the stock R3 so obviously need something more meaty 😉
Ikon Suspension USA have new shocks specifically for twin shock Rocket IIIs called 'Black Labels'. Right now, they just have the lowering version 11.65" eye to eye. Part# 7610-1612BL $675/pr. With long chrome covers over the springs, billet aluminum top mounts, adjustable Dial-a-Ride rebound damping, they look substantial and have made a big difference to the handling. They also have dual stage fork springs +15-20% stiffer than stock $129.95/pr. Makes the Rocket III handle about as good as it can. Eliminated that rear end weave you get after riding over a raised bump at speed with the stock units.

This sounds exactly what I'm after (especially the dodgy third hand engagement after lift off lol) and the price sounds to good to be true 😁
