Tough call Anthony. I for one wouldn't blame you for staying although I'm really hoping you still make the trip.
Another tough call mate. Reckon he'd prefer you to be joining us and being one of there driving forces behind getting this and future get togethers off the ground. No better way to remember him and your mates will realise that. Tell 'em to get f....., which I'm sure you did but in the nicest possible way.

Patches & T-Shirts
PATCHES
Man close call nearly run out of time for patches, just a point I will never forget once again, if something sounds to good to be true, it's bullsh#t, that's all I will say on the matter.
I have be talking to a great lady who has done patches before for me, normally she like a decent lead up time, but she will have patches done for us.
They will be similar to what we had but not as much detail for stitching, may be in a circle yet, similar size to the guiser patches from skip.
Whilst she wasn't in a position to do them for free, she has will be doing them for half price $6 bucks each. if your in the show & shine each bike get one for free, if people would like to buy them $10 each.
I have ordered 50 due to such a short production time but more will be made available after the event. 50 patches plus express post $310.
T-Shirts
T/C had some good design sent to him, no bloody excellent designs, two changes then off to the screen printers. (only intended to get quotes when the T-Shirts were being discussed on Friday & Saturday night)
An artist friend is coming up with a design with 3 pistons, skull faces, flaming heads. I was thing across the top we have Triumph Rocket 2300cc or Triumph Rocket 140 CI, bottom to read, say no more, or something else. Put your humour out there and come up with top and bottom things to say.
As we have to pay for our patches, I apologise T-Shirts will not be free for the show & Shine entries as I hoped, now they will be at cost for show and shine, with $5 or $10 added for every one else.
Paintings
Depending if she can getaway from her work I have a friend who is a ridgy didge aboriginal artist. She wanted pictures of my bike and is going to try and incorporate it into a dot painting. This will be one of a kind never to be repeated but hinges on time.
For next year there will be an oil painting done of my screen saver, instead of Harley's they will be replaced by rockets, instead of the Arizona desert to will be replaced by Ayers Rock, and native animals in the distance, this also will be a one off painting.
That's about it for the moment more news to come.

Tough call I know I missed so much with my daughters when I was away working all the time, as much as we all would like to see you here, if his a real younging, your call, we all would admire & respect your decision to watch your sons game.

All sounds good Marty - except I have no idea what your screen saver looks like.....
I saw the TC design for the t'shirts and it's brilliant. Can't quite visualise what you're wanting though. Is that a design for a second batch of shirts or all to go on the same one? In any case, not a huge fan of words saying how great the bike is. Just some or all of Rocket III, 2300 or 140 (don't mind) and the proper Hinkley version of the word Triumph would do me - there seems to be plenty going on in the drawing as it is.
If the dot painting gets done, what's the plan for that? Display? Auction?

Maybe Marty or TC can post it. We didn't want to show you initially because there wasn't any red on it. Just kidding mate. TC sent me a design that someone had done a while ago but I'm not sure what's happened to it or what the plan is.

I suggested we WAIT until we are all together to come up with a T-Shirt design incorporating the logo sent to me by Triumph Australia graphic design guy... Marty i would appreciate if you waited until we can ALL choose what WE want on OUR shirts. I dont want pistons , dragons or flames or any other cliche biker bull****. When we discussed this you agreed to wait until all attending had a chance to input ... what's changed mate ???

Yeah, let's do it that way. I got plenty of T shirts to wear there. Would be better to have something made up we all want to remember the gathering by; don't need it there.

Hey watch your Blood pressure there Buddy I'm sure Marty didn't mean to upset you and we don't want any tension, but it would be nice if we ALL could See IT so we have time to come up with Ideas and suggestions
