I'll distract the service station attendants while you steal petrol .. we'll buy a couple of cooked chook every evening and tear them to pieces on the side of the road like Vikings ... roll out the swags in bus shelters .. What else do we need to factor in to assist you mate  lucks ok but rational forward planning always works ..hahahaha
The @TOMCAT has gone feral.......

Okay, looking to book accommodation, so the nights are Friday 17th and Saturday 18th October......... in Torquay

I shall be making some enquiries with some of the holiday grounds in the area and will put up the phone numbers for them so guys and girls can book their own and will try to keep the group together if possible as we did in HB.
Will make some calls tonight and post up details / phone numbers.

TC and Hunty, what are your plans for the ride over from Adelaide to Torquay? Do over 2 days? Stopping at somewhere like Warrnambool on the way. I have driven the GOR from Torquay to Adelaide and took about 13 hours
About 7 hrs to Warrnambool and then another 250 odd k about 4 hrs via the GOR to Torquay
Direct inland route is about 9 hrs Adelaide-Torquay

Looking at about $100 a nite for twin at the camping grounds in a cabin

Yes mate they are all about the same cost but we may be able to get a better rate when I mention numbers. Will see what they say anyway and hopefully we get a bit better deal.
I said way way back I would ride down and meet up with you guys, that still stands.

We've had a quick chat about it and thought 2 days would be the go. Still trying to sort the train across for the bikes at this stage - getting info is like blood from a stone for some reason??!@?!?@

I thought the coast from Adelaide south of the harbour would be the way to go (if I say through Milliscent would that be the right part of the world??) with Warrnambool seeming like a reasonable overnight stop. Im really not fussed where I stay.
