Saturday the 2nd of November going for a ride on Kirky's new Fatboy (Peck's is the older white one with about 140 thousand k on it) This is the last day he rode we partied at Mango's place that night. Peck had radium treatment on a new tumour in his brain on Friday the 1st. Said he was feeling pretty good but went down hill quickly.

My mate had won a supreme court battle of charges relating to his alleged involvement in the importation of Norinko handguns .. his case was thrown out of court. He was tickled pink about that. Last time I saw with him he was chasing a couple of bits to finish of yet another BSA Goldstar restoration.. he loved them. RIP Clive.

Tough day Pecks brother Dave rode Pecks fat boy behind the hearse with Kirky beside him. Pecks dad John invited everyone who was riding to form the prossesion behind the hearse from Cleveland down to Vally way Mt Cotton where we all peeled off and the hearse was stopped at the lights as it continued on to the cremitorium on its own I'll never forget the wave I gave Peck as we peeled off onto the side road. Over 100 motorcycles. Goodbye mate Speed Safely

If anyone is interested there is video of the hearse and the bikes that were in the bottom car park on Facebook. I don't really know how Facebook works but I think anyone can type in Bruce Jeffery and I've shared it so it's on my timeline. The video is titled Peck's last ride part 1. Dave tells me there's more video to come. If you watch it you'll see the lone Rocket come in from the left. I still don't know anyone with a Rocket except you blokes on here.

Glad you were able to give him a staunch send-off mate.. good onya's.

Dave did a good job on a tough day. Except for a few Klm yesterday morning he hadn't ridden since he crashed his 72TR6 when he was 18 and sold it to Peck who was 16 at the time.
