PS Pete and Dean my apologies for not making the breakfast meet on Monday, but we were a bit late ,we were late getting going and as it was I didn't get home to near 10.0pm

i didn't do any except try and be usefull, Malcy did all the hard work and Ponters did the rest.
Ken ... 14 hours in the saddle all those trucking years must of helped toughen the backside, I could have made it home by 630pm to day but why rush (maybe I'm just getting soft) so I have been taking the longer way around the coast and I will still end up in Lakes Entrance by 3 just in time for a dip in the motel pool, some dinner and a relaxing evening, then of to bed for a early start and I can still have lunch with my Loverly Ann at lunch time tomorrow

Mate if I had the freeway to myself it wouldn't have worried me, but all the cars and trucks were trying to catch me and I wasn't going to let them over take or I would have been blinded in the spray so 130k plus on the wet road, very stressful

Dean and I got home about a hour ago , Had a great trip ,, Good to meet you all and thanks for the good company and great time .. We had a great ridfe home on the ocean road yesterday , stopped half way and stayed at MT Gambier last night .

Set off this morning into the worst riding weather , HOT and WINDY ,, It was supposed to reach 37-38 , don't know if it reached it , but with that hot wind it definetly felt like it reached it . I don't mind rain or cold , but i hate hot and windy .

Still it was a good ride home , and EVERYONE is safe , so alls good ,,,

Now everyone think about it , and if you all want to do south Aust next year ,, Pick out the dates , and let us know , Because the best place for it VICTOR HARBOR is VERY VERY busy and a lot of notice will need to be given .

Take care hope to catch up with some of you before the next RDU and thanks for the good company . .. Paul

I would say 80 mph in the rain with traffic would indeed pucker the sphincter!
