RDU Batemans Bay 2013 Take 2

I'm very pleased to hear that you got home safely Pete, looking forward to seeing you and having another Beer or 3 in the nearest possible future, thanks for your great company over the weekend,
Cheers,
Mal the Kiwi.
you'll have to come down when he comes down next time Mal and we will go out again and try not freeze next time

Great to see the pics. Amazing how much uglier you pricks are just one year later!

I like the work on that customised grey purple flamed bike. who's was it? I like the custom seat on it too.

I'm looking for somebody who knows where I can get a seat hand tooled and customised so sing out if you know anyone talented.

RDU Melbourne will be in November HANSO.

"rcket65ride" Pete and his better half Maureen own and run DV8 leather, he does some awesome work and that seat is even better in the flesh check out his website- DV8 Leather Emporium he is top guy and funny bugger too especially when him and Davo get together , we had a ball and I look forward to seeing him and All the others again.

Thanks Hanso for the hats and organizing the weekend. Was good to put some names to faces etc..

Had a great ride down there and the ride home was even better, Kangaroo Vally is tops.

Cheers Davo
yeah it is a nice ride up thru there the Qld'ers were heading up thru there today as well, did you stop and have a look at Fitzroy Falls, spectacular views:)

Moruya? God's country! That's why I live here.

Both my dads parents were born there. My grandfarther in the Jeffery family farm house Rose Hill wich is still standing and my grandmother in the Sly family home at Turlinga also still standing. Quite a few of the Jeffery clan still live in Moruya. I'm told my grandfather Ernie Jeffery gets a mention on the granite monument in town. I'll be checking that out.

Just wanted to say thanks for a great little get away
It was really nice meeting up with everyone , we both enjoyed it

Unfortunately for us the weekend was a quick get away with us leaving Buxton with Davo & Jo on sat morning , we had a nice ride down to Goulburn for brekky at the Paragon Cafe ,( Somehow Davo missed his side order ? ) then headed thru Tarago then Braidwood and Kings Hwy down the Clyde mountain , i hadnt been this way down the coast before and really enjoyed the trip to Batemans Bay

We had a quick meet up when checking in ,I had meant to catch up with everyone and ask about all the mods, good to see how much everyone has made their rockets there own .

the **** police on the desk said to leave yr bike in the car park ?? WTF i thought ? but she relented and said we were welcome to push the bikes up the walkway , ha ha !
she will get educated soon enough tho ,we found our cabin unpacked then off to the Bottlo for some refreshments

Davo & Jo joined Maureen & I on the verandah for a few drinks , By the time the others joined us Davo & I were really getting a taste on ,

There is a photo of me & Hanso somewhere that somehow sent shivers thru him , poor bugger got shy just as i was warming up !!
It was great catching up with everyone from interstate ,just a shame we couldn't have stayed longer but we had to get back up to Blacktown & Leppington to see our dads as well

Onward to the local catalina club where davo & me were doing a good impression to act sober as we signed in , food was good , somehow we sobered up a bit after dinner , im glad we didnt have a big night as i felt a bit ordinary till we had a nice bekky at the Starfish restaurant in Batemans bay ,good food there but this time show missed out on her side instead of Davo

All up a really good weekend
cheers everyone who came , look forward to next year

Pete n maureen

Ps Ponters the purplish flamed rocket was my bike , happy to do a seat at some stage for you , contact me when your ready
