ahhhh stuff yas all....now come here and bive me a big biker hug and kiss xxx

rightho, given im a prick of a bloke all year I dont mind continuing to be one today and on the RDU rides....as long as everyone is there so I can tell you all how pretty your bikes are, Im happy:D:D;)

and that is what I am doing for the Batemans Bay RDU but the ride here is one of the main parts of the experience otherwise you might as well just jump in a bus, after doing all those open country roads a nice bit of easy going thru some of the most scenic country in this great land of ours it. Bathurst to the Batemans Bay via the Kangaroo Valley is only 429km approx. 6hr riding not including stops and believe me you will want to see Fitzroy Falls probably have lunch in the Kanga' Valley so it is not like it would be a extra long day and who knows if you would be in this neck of the woods again:cool:

Bathurst ,that time of year being the last day of winter should be a little chilly ,better dress for it ,but on the plus side should be in batemans bay on the first day of spring ,sounds like a nice ride. I'll be in that one

Yeah anywhere inland will be chilly but the Alternative of going in thru Sydney is a nightmare even if you went thru Western Sydney, I we were to leave say about 9am the worst of the chill will have gone, it warms up fairly quickly once the Ol' Sun get up

I went through Sydney a few months ago on my way to the bay ,I hear what your saying the traffic was horrendous and it took about 1and a half hours to travel about 20km,s

One simply does NOT go THROUGH Siddeley if one can possibly avoid it. ("Whereis" will take you THROUGH Siddeley with 98 traffic lights, 50-60 speed limits, and heavy traffic all day, from the F3 to Waterfall.) BAD news.

One goes AROUND Siddeley, M2, M7, Hume, Picton Road to Mt Ousley.... nil traffic lights, all 90-110 speed limits.

Much more better.............:) :)

Obviously a man well travelled, around Sydney not that bad, better than getting around Brisbane

***n hell Hanso, what's up your bum? As usual you've not bothered to read what I posted, or if you did it surely went way over your head. You have, once again, completely missed the point of what I was saying. Sometimes you seem to just post whatever pops into your head without even thinking. Almost everything in your long post is wrong and ill considered and a lot of it is frankly, bloody insulting.

Suddenly everyone just has to ride Kangaroo Valley and see the sites, yet somehow I'm a bad person for saying that's exactly what I wanted to do at Hervey Bay. Maybe you're the one having the sarcastic dig at Marty.......

If I thought for 1 second that everyone actually wanted to spend a weekend in September in Canberra I'd have jumped at the chance to organise something. To be honest though, all I can recall being said on the subject was that Canberra would come after every other state. Or have I got wrong? I don't think so.

I have no idea why you decided the dredge up Hervey Bay. I was responding to Marty's incorrect claim that people had made sarcastic remarks. But as you raised it, go back and actually read the HB threads and you will see many comments of praise from me for Marty's efforts. You will also see that I was very direct and up front about what I had expected the experience to be. That doesn't make it "all about me"; that shows that at least I had some sensitivity and was prepared to show some consideration for what others wanted, and that I was prepared to speak my mind. Great effort that it was, Hervey Bay was still all about what Marty wanted. And from your comments so far in this thread, Bateman's Bay is also going to be all about what you want.

I'm done with this. If you and Marty are so immature you can't cope with a bit of honesty you can both go and *** yourselves.
