Ramair filter arrived...

...ordered it last week on Oct 15th and arrived in NJ yesterday Oct 21. Talk about fast. First impressions...awesome packaging and well protected against rough USPS handling. The re-oil kit was packaged inside and well sealed. The filter is a really nice piece of workmanship. The install instructions were sent and received by email yesterday. Looking forward to the install but will have to wait since there are a bunch of upgrades that will be done at the same time. Great vendor....

just as I griped on this forum I had to get up and answer the front door . the mailman brought a package from Ramair I am a happy man today !! good packaging good product and good instruction sheet thanks to colin , and chris wood for fitments and testing

I ordered mine on Monday and it arrived on Tuesday ....one of the joys of living in the UK

I received one of the RamAir filter kits for testing yesterday. I agree about the quality design of the filter and kit parts. It is nice to see someone that can actually make a good extension harness.
I will not get a chance to test it until next week, but will test it against K&N RU-2780 filters, Pipercross C504D filter with custom base plate. The results will first go to RamAir, but will be shared here soon after.

About to order mine, anyone know if a new tune is needed, if so which one is it?

NO ONE HAS TESTED/TUNED THIS FILTER ON A DYNAMOMETER YET.
As a result, there is not enough information to answer your questions or develop a calibration change (map/tune) if it is needed.
