Ramair filter arrived...

Here are my thoughts on chirping. I think it depends on MANY factors. Filter, zorst, butterflies, fuelling - probably cams.
Wouldn't say it was a design brief, more a hope that didn't transpire.
Killed off more than 90% of mine - plus all the flapping wet halibut slaps.

Like this?
Yes - almost exactly. The base melody is more of a "water whistle" chirp tone and the slaps came in groups of 3. But yes!.
As we know R3's are raised surrounded by 80's comedy series and tested to Banjo music.
Maybe some just absorb more of their infancy and carry it into their adult life. Would explain SO MUCH.

SO after all this time and still no Dyno results from NEV or WAYNE ???????

Not seen this one then Art?

WELL sounds like he added cams to the mix SO not a good comparison

WELL you need to read more of Nev's threads to see beyond what is just in that post. As far as I have read, Nev uses the Uni-filters with his cams and other mods in preference to the KU2780's because they work better.

To quote him in reference to the Ramair "....I have never got better with this combo of parts...", that seems to suggest to me that the Ramair works at least as well as the Uni-filter's or the RU2780's which is all it was ever intended to do.

SEEMS to suggest ---???
