I've never noticed since being a transplant to Texas, but in my previous life as an Ohio native, it was called off road fuel and you could only buy it in mass quantities from petrol companies. Basically 100+ gallon storage tanks

Used for winter home heating, off road construction equipment, trains, farm equipment...
