RAA WEST 2020 SIGN-UP

I will. Heh I don't love gravel and I tried to avoid any dirt roads but this road it part of the total experience in that area.
I will not ride that road, not because im scared but because my wife rides a can am spyder and the smallest rock between the belt and the sprocket will tear the engine all to hell, ask me how i know, i will wait for you guys to come back. @Rocket Scientist , remember this in Moab?

There is another way around and we can all meet up at the junction of the two roads. This will not be a problem if you and others prefer to avoid this route.

A fluke of rotten luck, Amigo. This is NOT a rough road & it is NOT gravel.

This road IS on our route, but there is a hwy 161 & 95 ride around.
From our hotel tis 3.9 miles north on 163 to a left turn onto 161. From there 32.7 miles to 95 (36.6 miles total).
Continuing past that 161 left turn takes you 26.1 miles to 191 then another 26.2 miles to the left turn onto 95. Tis then 28.4 miles to where we shall meet (75 miles total). Considering each route, bypassing the Moki Dugway should be only about 20 - 30 minutes longer to where we meet back up.

That’s the route I was thinking about. Thanks for the mileage calculation.

I have created a RAA WEST 2020 T-Shirt.
Hope you like it? Only black, but all sizes in both men's and women's are available.

Go to Amazon.com and just enter "1olbull".
It is listed as "Capital Reef"

I have ordered one for me in order to see it in the flesh and shall post a pix when I get it.
This is an Amazon rendering and not very good resolution:
