Well,
I've got news.
Good or bad depends on your perspective I suppose.
The news is,
Me and Dusty Rose aren't going to make it this year.
Just found out that our daughter, the youngest, the one who at 15 got pregnant,
went ahead and finished High School and graduated with her class with Honors.
Graduates Nursing school the 19th of May.
Actually that's her "pinning ceremony", Her graduation is the 21st.
Plus the youngest son now 21, has decided to make that weekend
the weekend he ties the knot with his girlfriend of 4 years.
So boys, much as I'd like to see everyone and introduce ya'll to the wife,
it'll have to wait another year.
I'm calling Gabi and cancelling my room as soon as I hit the submit button.
Love, prayers, and respect to one and all.
Ride safe and have fun.

nooooooo !!!!!!!! :(

I know Fred,
I'm bummed about it too.
Sure was lookin' forward to hangin' with everbody again,
sittin' around the campfire and tellin' Rocket yarns.
Drinkin' some apple pie and watching all the madness that a RAA event presents.
But, i gotta watch my baby girl get her nursing pin and nursing diploma.
She's come a long way from being a rebellious teenage who wanted to
do everything me an her momma said not to.
She's matured a lot, I guess having a baby,
and wanting to be a good mother and provider
will do that sometimes.
I'm PROUD of her.
Wouldn't miss it for the world.
So anybody with rebellious teenagers,
or kids in your life you care about
whether grandkids or neighbor kids,
don't give up on them, just keep the faith,
and keep on pointing them in the right direction,
they'll come around eventually,
if ya don't give up on 'em...
Keep The Faith...

Sorry to hear about that skip wished you were making it, but a graduation into a good job is in very important in these times wish you and your daughter good luck :)

Congratulations to your daughter. Reality has a way of resetting one's priorities. Sorry that it means that you won't be able to join us.

However, it does allow my brothers to get a room at the Holiday. Thanks.
