except for the fact that
it's one of my granddaughters (Angel's) Birthday,
it'd be a wash out around here.
We celebrate Christmas around here every day.
If a person is referring to the birth of Christ, then every day is Christmas.
If it's ONLY a day to give gifts to the ones you love,
then yes, the commercialism makes it stink.
Most "Christians" think it's the day Christ was born.
of course, most Christians think he was raised from the dead on Easter too.

Agree with STB and Skip. In tulsa they are trying to take Christ out of christmas

I agree Christmas has become very commercial But I think it is what you make it. For me it a few day off at the end of the year where I get to spend some quality time with the family, Over eat, express my appreciation and thanks through the lost art of selfless giving if I so choose. Time to reflect on the past year and get excited about what the the next year will be..... Its like being reborn for me every year ..... you can call it what you want but I call it CHRISTMAS

Merry Christmas......................you only over eat this time of year? I do it year round.

i am the grinch. I absolutely hate christmas anymore. They have ruined it with all there commercialism and corporate greed. The motto seems to be now " how far can i put these fools in debt". Pisses me off is all

i so, so, so, agree...i hate the holidays!!!!! Especially christmas......its money, money, money...screw that, thank goodness im took sick too decorate, cook, an put up a tree this year!!!!!
