I stopped for gas in Meridian, MS and several HD's rode in to gas up when one pulls up and offers me to come hang out and eat with them at a Wounded Warrior event in town. They are doing a fund raising ride to the wall in Washington.
I told the guy thanks but I had to get home. He said that about 500 bikes were coming in from Jackson. Many had rode from California. Very nice dude. Had a Christian Motorcycle group patch on the back of his vest.
Several miles later I passed the riders going the other direction. Police escort of about 40 bikes then the rest of the guys. Impressive!!!! 500 bikes of all kinds.
I tried to find a place to pull over and get some pics but I was in a single lane construction zone.
**** the timing.

speaking of pics....Friday's are up

Speaking of videos, Karen and I rode up to Hot Springs on Rt 209 (the Rattler) on Friday afternoon for a late lunch. On the way back, we passed a small house where I saw a man in coveralls standing on the front porch with a rifle in his hands. As we passed, I heard the distinct sound of a gunshot.

When I got home last night I reviewed the video that I was capturing at the time and, yes, you can definitely hear the gunshot. You can't see the man in the video but the sound is certainly there. I hope to clip out the section tonight and get it posted.

Gosh that Triumph rig is frickin awesome! I would have liked to have seen it in person.:(

I have never rode one of those bikes but I would like too.

TOW and I just rolled in. Rode in the rain about 15 minutes, otherwise smooth sailing until we got farther north. A little chilly up this way today ! Thanks everybody for a GREAT time ! With a special shout out to Steve and Katie, Bill and Sue and Rob and Gabby. Thanks to our ride captains Steve, Rainman, Ogre and Tdragger. Glad to hear everyone has made it home safe so far. And a special thanks to Triumph for building a unique motorcycle that brings this special group of people together. I would also like to thank my mom and dad, my director, Jill in costumes, the guys who built the props.......................:D
