Strike the notion of doing another Maggie Ralley. Too many schedule conflicts to promise a motel owner full occupancy for a discounted price and cancellations at the last moment. Once upon a time (RAA 6) there was participation from a LOT of R3 owners. Time has eclipsed a lot of us and the suggestion of doing another was a resurrection of a guilded memory. Ride em if you can while you can or weep for opportunities missed. This has been the longest and wettest ride of my life. Would not have missed it and the other cowboys on steel ponies for anything. Peace out brethren.
Already got the bosses approval for a Maggie run. Committed to a few home improvements between now and May. She agreed. Work can Kiss my shining side. If it is at all possible would like to see it happen.
Glen do not give up hope I for one would gladly go back to MV in a heartbeat, some of the best riding in America, great lodgings and great hosts Rob and Gabbi, as said at one time we could fill any place in fact at RAA11(Nashville) about eight of us attended then the next year at RAA111(Eureka Springs) we had about thirty riders kept them numbers for quite a few years then we started having two events a years which really dillutes the participation.
I know this is a big country that is why we do East and West and sometimes in the middle.
I am in for a run to Maggie valley around May. Never been there even after all the time spent on the East coast. After talking awhile with Rainman about the area got the idea that it is great for bike events. Have only made two runs with this group on here and both have been small runs with very few people. Enjoyed them anyhow. Still kind of a newbie to all this. Would love to attend a big R.A.A. run with a bunch of people. JoseyR3Wales was telling me about runs were 60 plus would show up. That to me would be amazing. I am more than willing to help out any way possible to make such possible again. Missed out on a few runs due to work but if we can get this one going full steam work can Kiss my #ss. If we can all pull together and plan it out early and support it with the amount of folks on here we could very well in up with the biggest ever.
Rainman and Wendy. Any help you need in planning this just ask. May be one of the biggest flakes on two wheels but more than happy to help out anyway i can. Financial or in getting it organized. Don't care lets go for a record attendance.
