Just catching up on this thread. Did not realize 1olbull could not attend and of course saw all the rain pics. Darn. Well at least you tough guys showed up and still had a good time.

Hard to tell from the pic but that looks like a bottle of Bullet bourbon or rye to me. Good stuff. Who are the guys in the pic though. Names to faces is always appreciated.

Another soiree comes to a sweet end. Now 1,000 miles of ground pounding with Rainman. Homeward bound.

Relatively new tire. Purchased earlier this year.

I read that Metz was having trouble with their 888 tire compound. Looked on the net and a few Harley and Goldwings rider had similar problems.

To sum up my trip: Left Tyler about 4:00 pm and rain started pouring as soon as we left, took 40 minutes just to get out of town. Stopped in Paris, Tx just below the border for diner. At least half of the trip we rode in 4th gear averaging about 45 mph to keep from hydroplaning and we could barely see. Got to Talihina-whacker about 9:40
The Gang has already turned in for the night due to power drinking started early
1K9 saw us come in so we changed clothes & went to find others. We’re only able to dig up Rainman but that’s cool so we talked n drank a little tequila among other things til about midnight then turned in.
Got up Sat morning and had breakfast n hung out with The Outlaw, Rainman, 1K9, Mexican...... Sonny, you sleepy?
Had to leave for home at 11:00 am but had a great time hanging with my brothers if only for a short while......
Uh, Sonny, you ever wake up????
Rained on us all the way home except not as hard n got some small little breaks of no rain a few times so we got home a lot faster than it took to get there.
would do it again, 100 times
Life is GOOD
