It once was a name used for girls but times changed and Brittany, Shawna, Jessica and the like replaced the old style names. I know an Emogene, an Anna Lou and have met at least one Enid but that's a reflection of my age and days gone by. Sorry Lupe' it was a Gringo joke of sorts. According to on line search, Enid has not been listed in the top 1000 baby names in over 60 years. Now back to your topic of Oklahoma.
