Thank y'all

Thanks to all for "takin care of me". It was heart warming how all of you good friends were looking out for me. The trip was difficult but at the same time, necessary. Sure glad I made the trip even though I didn't feel up to it in the beginning. What a great group of people.

Thanks Lupe and Lore for the Mexican BBQ! Best tortillas and guaq in the world. Wish I could have been able to appreciate the fajitas. Wow did they smell good! It will probably be a few more months before I regain the ability to handle the texture of beef. ( I miss steak!!! )

I had just sat down in my recliner when Lupe called and glad he did because I had drifted off as soon as my butt hit the chair. One tired puppy.

well everyone is on the road home its was kinda sad saying goodbye to everyone. I sure wasn't expecting to make such a connection with everyone! Thanks for the warm welcome and for slowing down to wait on this slow poke

Well Janice and I arrived home at 2:15 today. It was great seeing alot of old faces and meeting some new ones. For the most part the weather was just fantastic. Glad those that left early got home safely and those still on the road be carefully getting to their finally destination. Can't wait till the next one. We had a blast.

I'm really glad that I was able to fit event into my x/country travels. It was a very good time. I'm a bit over halfway home (1035 miles total)...just 480 miles to go....and tomorrow is my birthday....just pigged out at the buffet next to my motel....headed to the hot tub then bed. adios amigos.
