Our mountains just handle that much rain. Everything drains off the mountain tops and funnels down to the creeks. A lot of our favorite routs will not be rideable for a long time.

Things are improving. My daughter and grandkids got to go back home to Newland NC after power and water restored. Her job in Boone NC is still out though. Unbelievable damage. Thank goodness their house is up high from any creeks or rivers.
