The riding conditions in NC are not good. Roads are blocked or completely gone. Power is out widespread. I’m not sure you even get into or out of Maggie Valley right now. Asheville is completely cut off from every direction.

Right now every road is closed to everyone but emergency crews. I talked to an electrical lineman who told me they had 20,000 extra linemen in Florida and 0 in North Carolina. Sparky may some insight on this. FYI for anyone needing up to date road information in North Carolina can go to DriveNC.gov. I just checked and confirmed that all roads in Western North Carolina should be considered closed.
