Ken, the price is read as $3.99 and 9/10ths per U.S. Gallon (diff from Imperial Gal) of diesel. The decimal is implied and as by U.S. custom, all prices include the 9/10ths. The true price is $3.999.

Thanks TD ,In Aus we only go to the second decimal point ie $3.99, still a lot cheaper tan what we pay per Litre, even our LPG auto gas is around $.92 per Litre.

Found a brief diversion in New Mexico...rode into an extinct volcano. Pretty interesting. Back in Texas still lots of miles to go. Drop off Lore' spider, Stripes and MB in Denton tonite then home tomorrow
