Me and stb won't get to leave till Saturday morning hopefully make it past st Louis before first stop

I am already on the road sleeping in missoula rained all day ,bumped into two riders soaked to the bone at the front desk I mentioned montrose and one said his buddy from california is going there named dave montero anybody ??? if dave is reading this it is your pal peter hex on a beemer saying hello.

Coming home today it was raining heavy, temps had dropped to mid-60s. I was carefully threading a path east, between the semis on I-80...

I approached a couple Harleys that were traveling much slower than me.

Quite a comical site. One guy had a beanie helmet & he was good compared to guy he was following.
Right hand high overhead on the apehanger. Left hand tucked into body. No helmet. No windshield. He did have a balaclava on,,,and sunglasses.
 
I left this am at 6:30 for Warrenton, arrived at 5. 610 miles. Storms were going to hit my area Friday and I did not want to deal with a long day with that in it. Friggin back is killing me now. Day of rest waiting for Orgre and others tomorrow.

My ETA is 6-ish. Charley may be there sooner. He will be on a red&cream Valk.

My forecast is showing 37 degrees when I leave tomorrow. But dry & things will warm up quickly...I will prob'ly pass through the front & hit some rain on the way.

T minus 10 hr. 25 min. & counting...all systems go.
