You have 3 main options...
I-40, US 50, I-70

Looks like I-40 has the most construction going on as of now.

Looks like you have 24-25 hours travel time to Montrose. How many days are you planning on?

Ok people.

I may be bringing another couple of riders. One on a white can-am and another on a hd.
The man on the can-am is retired Navy Submariner the other is his step son.
The Submariner is in his 60's and should have retired from my employer but he has nothing esle to do with his time. I invited him so that he can meet you retired men and realize that life is waiting for him. If he could just realize that there are many people his age that enjoy freedom, he might just retire and enjoy himself.
He is a widower and life has not been kind to him but he is really a great guy. Once he realizes that he can be himself, he is fun to be around.
He spends most of his free time playing XBOX. That is not how it should be.
If he comes, please help him see the benifits of retirement and that he has people allover the USA to stay with, ride with and enjoy life on the road with.
His name is CB Lee and if he is comfortable he cusses like a sailor.

I work with his son-in-law and we have been trying to get him to go on this trip.
If anyone is retired military and want to talk to him, please PM me and I will give you his #.

Great story, Nolton!
I can hardly wait to meet CB Lee (he must be a reb!). :p
After I finally meet you - be sure and introduce us.

We r planning 3 days leaving Saturday and getting there sometime Monday as of now LTS looking like we may do the st Louis route and maybe taking the Texas route back home less interstate that way
Don't want to go thru Memphis

Ok so I am still not sure if I will have the Beast road worthy but I am sure I will have it up and running. To be honest I just got back from a 900 mile ride on a new stead to add to the stable and right now I am enjoying riding it. Mainly because it is a different feel and something I have never road before. Yet still a Triumph:)
