well how about camping or a place with camping AND cabins? I will be camping regardless.

OR NATIONAL FOREST AT VALLECITO OR NEARBY AT OURAY
 
In June there is still the possibility of snow. In July and August it's crowded. September has events and October is when the snow starts again.
You people decide. I'm open to whatever month yaw chose.

I've camped at that KOA many times over the years; recently though I've sworn off of them. They're currently catering to the older crowd that tends to setup camp on a semipermanent basis; you'll see them settled in with lighting and steps and landscaping and whatnot. This means you're absolutely QUIET at night....which we're typically NOT. I don't mean loud parties, I mean TALKING ist verboten, for the most part. I would not typically recommend them. And they would NOT like my Carpenter exhaust at night.
