I would say mesa verde indian ruins a must see (between cortez colo. And durango colo.) miillion dollar hiway from ouray to durango colo. Great ride about a 2 hour ride one way (on rockets maybe 1 hour)for the fisherman quality waters at navajo dam second best trout in nation compared to yellowstone / vallecito lakeanother nice ride / pagosa springs is just down the road/ telluride/ shiprock/moab/ all easy days ride /grand canyon can be done in 1 day but better leave early and ride hard. Round block for me easy good days ride bloomfield n.m. East to chama north to pagosa springs colo. West to durango colo. North to silverton continue to ouray continue north to ridgeway colo. Left to telluride colo. South to delores colo. To cortez colo. East to hespurus colo. South to farmington n.m. Back home to bloomfield n.m. Great country to see here open roads let her breathe or take time look check it out to scrape the floorboards some more to utah canyons what is it you want to ride today?ouray colo. A routine trip for me

Just need to know if this is a GO?

............. & I'll start workin out the details.

You could at least call some of the lodging places to see what kind of group rate you could get for about 30 people.
Until someone speaks up, I would consider using the dates that you posted.

Anyone have a problem with that, speak up !!!!!

This is a group thing. You have a say in this.

The last part of July. No date has been established.

Voting is not over but it looks like Colorado.
May give it another month just to be fair.

Ok then...... I will ask off for a week. That should be enough time shouldn't it?

I know one thing for sure!
Before we venture off very far from home we will have not one but two.( one for each of us) GPS systems. That getting lost and left behind sh$$ won't happen again

I had a GPS the whole time but didn't have it on. I was doing two things..... following rainman and looking up in the sky wondering when it was going to start raining. :D

Super 8 sounds good to me. I don't need a place with **** music playing and hanky panky going on........ I'll be to sore and more than likely broke.

I could stay at a park with a campsite in my hammock and camping gear if I have too.

The routes out there should be pretty easy to follow but GPS is always nice to have.

Ogre,
**** fine work, Amigo.
Anyway I can get a Google Map file of that map so I can see more detail?
I be heading there in a week or so and could use the information.
best Regards,

if you do I can email the file to you.

Ogre,
I have a Nuvi 3760 and that's all I know

How about a larger screen shot of your map?
I could likely read that and then work things out for myself.

Once again, REAL NICE WORK
!

Alternate scheduling dates

The July time frame is the peak season out there, so we would not get any discounts and be paying top prices and fighting the biggest crowds............

Before I go any further on this original plan,
I suggest that we consider changing the dates to one of these:

*1st week June 2014
*2nd week June 2014
*1st week September 2014 (the Monday of that week is Labor Day)
