Hey Herald hows to bike doing is she back on the road again?

Guys,
I'm thinking of doing something a little different this year...
Now who does that surprise? nobody right?
Anyway here's my idea, see what ya'll think.
Every year I get us patches and pins for the RAA's.
I'm thinkin' still go with the individual patches for each event,
but get a single event pin like this.

that way you can add on the bars for every one you've made or do make in the future.
Somebody who joins later won't miss out on anything
except the partying, the comradery around the campfire, the booze, the rides.
Well ok, they'll miss out on alot, but they can still get a pin and
start their collection from there.
how's it sound and what do ya'll think?

Looks good skip, as long as they are light weight. Otherwise Dave here is going to need a Carpenter kit just to haul his Jacket around

You're the only one I know of Dave.
I thought about that,
and I think Lon comes in second.
after that, there's lots of us been multiple times.
So we'd have a "few" bars on ours,
but you'd be the "old man" of the event for sure..
most colorfully decorated Captain there,
even without your kilt,
Not that I'd want to see your decorations WITHOUT you kilt...
BTW, you'd have to wear your "dress" kilt to receive your medal,
But I ain't pinning it on ya, especially NOT on your kilt....
we'll leave that honor to STB, or Katie, or whoever's drunk enough
to want to get that close to your kilt, an whatever lies beneath....

How about it BuggerDave,
you said early on you had some ideas for patches,
had time to work any flaws out of the designs yet?

Nope Hilda is still in pieces at the dealer. We worked out the repair costs with the ins. co. They will pay for everything but the oil,filter & antifreeze. Now just waiting for parts. It works out good, Hilda will be in a warm secure place all winter. I also told them I want the timing chain and slides changed and a valve adj, while its all apart (less labour cost). so now I wait. I figure it's like, Hilda is getting a boob job.
