I must admit the best home security I ever had was my 235 lb St. Bernard just to see people face when they would pull up and he would pisss on the hood of the car was Priceless. Along when he would stand up with his paws on the houd and stare at them thru the windshield drooling oveer everything was priceless. To bad they live shorter lives mine lasted 8 years. Loved him so much I could not take the chance of going thru loosing another one. Funny thing was Other then deer hunting the dog was a gentle lovable animal and would not harm anyone as long as they were not harming any of his family. Man did he love kids and they loved to ride him like a horse. I have to stop now as just talking about him is really making me miss him.

Just before leaving for MV I had to put down the best dog that I ever had. Rot/black lab. She couldnt walk due to arthritis.
Sometimes I thought that dog could read my mind.

Update on the breakin...It wasn't random. Son came home last night missing the key off his key ring. Turns out his GF and her buddies started pawning $hit today. Never had a lot good to say about LEO's, but Waller County Sheriff's Office is all over this thing. BTW...I live out in the country, on a dead end street, and my neighbors are armed to the teeth and mostly illegal so they watch EVERYBODY who comes into the neighborhood in case it happens to be La Migra

I just got a call from my sister wishing me a happy birthday and she had an interesting story about Bidal Veil Falls. Years ago they were going to family friends in Highlands, NC which is near the falls. Anyhow a tractor trailer had an "incident" there being trapped under the falls.
