Well, we've been in the hospital since April 15th. I'm just about out of vacation time, but they may let her leave today. We appreciate the prayers and concern, fellas. She came here for a gastric bypass which she has contemplated for a long time. Should have been a 3 day stay tops. She was in terrible pain afterwards so they did a CT scan and noticed a large ovarian cyst about the size of two grapefruits. First two doctors wanted to wait a couple months to remove it but she wasn't having that. Third doctor said it needed it come out ASAP and did the procedure. Turns out, it was cancerous. They also believe it was contained to that area only and they are 99% sure they got it all. They also said that it was fast growing and that if she hadn't had the bypass surgery, chances are we would have never known about it until it was too late. It's one of the hardest cancers to detect. Your prayers were heard and I give God all the glory for watching over my wife. I may not get to meet you all this year, but we were just blessed with a miracle so I can be patient enough to meet y'all next year. I may even be able to make the Texas run instead since that's closer. Just wanted to give a shout out to you all and let y'all know how much I appreciate you!
