Things are going pretty well Scott. I have a few days where I pretty much stay on the couch. Appetite has been fine. I have a couple days where I don't feel like eating but my sweetie stays after me and makes me good stuff so I haven't lost ANY weight. I thought maybe I could lose 10 pounds as kind of a making lemonade when given lemons. Oh well. Haven't been out to work on the ride yet. I think I'll wait for the weather to break. Still have to check my shims and install my new Rivco crash bars. How much did you pay for your China Freight borescope ? Do you know the model number by chance ? I was looking on the interweb and you can buy small usb cameras with built in lights and a long wire for around 20-40 dollars. I wonder if they work any good ? Has anyone ever used one to look into and engine ?
How are you progressing ? Are you going to do physical therapy ?

Glad to hear your doing well especially with the appetite stuff . My dad forced himself to drink insure everyday. and found that even though his taste buds canged and was not hungry he ate a bowl of crushed cookies and icecream every night. He told me it did not have the flavor but what the hell its cookies and Ice cream you just know it taste good no matter what.

I ahve been going to theropy 5 time a week and have some home excersies to do know so things are going ok as I see it. I am thinking about seeing if the doctor will let me go back in the week after next with soem limitations of course. No use of right arm except to sign stuff and maybe a little typing otherwise we will leave it tied to my body with this harness they have me in. It renders the arm uselless you can't even hole a soda in it. Hoping to get some work done on Gracie today with the boys help of course. I have to wait for his arse to get out of bedd which might be a while. He is 23 and you know how partying goes when your that age:) I want to take her rear wheel off so I can start to install the new rear fender and then the front. Might have to go with the front first as you don't have to pulll the wheel and my daughter is up already. Shes 15 and well if your going to learn how to drive your going to need some mechanical apptitude incase you have a flat tire. (or at least that is the excuse I am going to use with her :D)

This staying home is driving me bug nuts for sure I got to get back intothe game!!

I on the other hand, have been completely enjoying the time off. I've been working 6 and 7 days a week for so long this is like paradise for me. I won't say it's worth the trade off but it's not that far off. At 62 my arse is gonna be outta the work force. I don't care if I have to pick up pop cans (for the 10 cent deposit for you non Michiganders) to put gas in the rocket. :D

I need 300 rounds of .30 carbine, 500 of .45 and 200 of .380 please.

The time off should give you a new perspective on life. You may not want to go back. Glad you are doing good. Your not going to loose any weight eating gumbo though!! ;)
 
Ride the Blue Ridge Parkway up to Little Switzerland then NC 209 The Rattler. Some of my favorite ridin up through there.

The latest and greatest that Rainman and Wendy took us along on was the Devil's Triangle. Smokin hot ride.

Section of NC 9 from Black Mountain over to Lake Lure is good riding but WARNING, Chimney Rock, NC has signs posted before the city limits that Prohibit Non EPA rated pipes on motorcycles. If they think you're too loud and you're running TORS for instance you is in trouble. We rode in last summer but never opened up the bike with TORS on it.

By the way, gasoline is between $3.59 to $3.79 right now in NC. See link for Maggie.

I need 1000 rounds of .17 mach 2, can't find it anywhere, i'm thinking about finding another use for that rifle, :(
