Does anyone know where the turn signal flasher unit is located on the R3T? According to the service manual it is under the right side cover. But, what they show as the flasher unit is the relay for the Auxiliary Lights.

I have a long running problem with my turn signals only working part time. When they stop working if I repeatedly switch them off and on they will start working again and go for quite awhile before stopping again. I've opened the switch housing and cleaned the contacts but no real change. I figured the flasher unit would be the easiest and cheapest place to start, if only I could find the **** thing.

I have pretty much the same problem.....(knock on wood)....its been a while since it has happened so I havent thought much about it........One theroy is the switch itself.....and the self cancelling portion of it...but i havebt taken the switch apart.....Ill do some searching and hopefully with both our efforts, come up with something.

Did you ever get any fix? My blinkers just stopped working. Spent all day troubleshooting but without finding the blinker relay. I know the Tbird uses a diode instead of a flasher. Even the local Triumph tech couldn't find a relay but they don't have a book for the touring.

Nah, haven't found it yet. Rode all day yesterday and they worked just fine. Its a real hit and miss thing with mine. Probably won't work next time. When they do stop working just flipping them on and pushing cancel over and over gets them going again. Seems like the switch to me, but I've had it apart, cleaned it a few times, and the problem just keeps coming back.

For Europeans models the blinker relais is located in the speedometer / Dash.
The Instructions in the handbook are wrong in Germany as well.
The dealers dont know where this thing seats.

The speedometer stops the flasher after 63meters. to make this work they connected the relais with the speedometer.

How the heck is the flasher located inside the speedometer/dash board? There isn't any room in there for a big relay to fit. Did they use a diode instead? I still can't find one and none of the dealers have the service manual for the touring model. No blinkers at all working on my bike.

Never found a relay. The dealer ordered the service manual and while we were waiting for it to arrive, my blinkers mysteriously started working again and have worked ever since. Not sure why.
