R3T engine don't like starting in the morning!

Yeah I can start up and leave it to idle while I get my locks off and my helmet/gloves on (a few minutes perhaps) then select 1st gear and die!

Ok when you select the gear is the side stand up or down. If its down it should die if its up I'd bypass the side stand switch and see if she stays running.

Ooops, sorry I forgot to mention the sidestand has been removed and the switch rejoined as it is now a trike. Could this switch (faulty) normally immobilise the engine at 30MPH, or just when stationary?
