I guess patience is good...but patience with knowledge is even better! Bull has been working with CES for some time and is currently running their full system on his R3R. He tells me the pipe is 2 1/4" at both ends.

"Living Legend" I didn't appreciate your condescending remark about patience. I am new to the bike and I was just trying to collect good intel in order to make a good buying decision.

I think that if a guy is trying to sell his product he needs to be willing to educate folks. In this case he didn't know his competitor's product and made me feel stupid for asking. Not a great sales strategy.

R4me, I think old bull is ****ting you a little. CES does not have 2¼ diameter header pipes.
I'm not sure here but if you are referring to me as not knowing my Competitors products, you are way off base. And Don't doubt my knowledge, I have been around for more than 5 minutes.
IF, I have interpreted this wrong, I apologise, and I certainly did not intend to make you feel stupid. That would be the last thing I would want to do, to anyone.

Maybe Old Bull could front up with the correct facts ?

Just going with the cards I am bein' dealt. I don't know why Bull wouldn't feed me straight. Let's see what he comes back with.

Well mate, perhaps you should apologize to me then.
Take a gander at my fu*king invoice . . .

Thanks for chiming in Bull.

I did NOT like his unwarranted comment that I was $hitting you.
I could absolutely make a mistake, but what point is there to purposely lead anyone astray?
I read my invoice as stating my CES headers are 2.25 inch ID at the header outlet and at the stainless section to the can.

Accepted 1 olbull, but you did state "2¼ inch diameter at both places." and that was what I was questioning.

Now that we have that straight, can we now resume normal communication.

When I compare the photos of your CES and his, the CES header pipe looks bigger and honestly ...better (my opinion). Both photos I saw didn't have heat shields so it couldn't be that. Interesting to see what he comes back with after looking at the photos.

I don't understand... that is what I have been asking all along. Pipe size out of the motor at the header and the out back by the slip on. You say yours is 1 5/8", CES is 2 1/4. Same page?

What is being said here R4me is that my header is 1 5/8" O.D , olbull is saying that the header "outlet" that being the tail pipe, is 2¼" I.D.
Two different parts of the system.
When olbull comes back with the actual header diameter then we can compare "apples with apples".
Perhaps if he gets a pair of verniers out and actually goes measure the diameter then we will know what he's actually got.
