Therein lies the big can of worms every time this conversation comes up, Rocket4me.

CES is in Australia, Carpenter Racing is in New Jersey. How to get the same bike on the same dyno under near-equal conditions with any comparable system(s) is the challenge or limiting factor which prohibits fair and direct objective testing. Consequently, we can only go on anecdotal evidence, word of mouth, seat-of-the pants results and/or common sense, which, unfortunately, isn't all that common.

Thanks for the info. Does anyone have Dyno numbers for CES vs. Carpenter?

@Rocket4me Just to add to the confusion, Reband now makes a pipe for the R3T. I have one on mine and I like it. No heat issues that @1olbull has reported on the CES system. (besides that it is a whole lot better looking) :whitstling:

Well we can always setup a DYNO SHOOTOUT to compare I always attend any in our area and we sent bikes to the BRUTE HP SHOOTOUT in DAYTONA to take top honors we can do an in shop comparison as weve had bikes come in for our mods with all the different pipes available and several custom setups

AWWW, Ya went too far with that last crack - "(besides that it is a whole lot better looking)".
Show me a pix of yours that can compare with the artwork of the CES!

Also, Phil, surely the HP diff would be minor (within +/- a few HP) which would be more than covered by the rider's skill factor in a drag race.
So now we are left with best looks and functionality . . . :D

One what? Custom header to a single muffler? One muffler on each side?

Hmmmm... well, looks is a purely objective standard and functionality can only be determined objectively which is best done in a static (dyno) rather than a dynamic (drag race) setting. All just my opinion, of course.:) To my eyes the Brute is the most aesthetically appealing, but, of course, I'm the biased owner of a set.:p

The same tuner should dyno tune both systems.
