I have a set of D and D's and my bike sounds great!

Unfortunately the issue (if one is looking for an engine that can really breathe) isn't alleviated by slip-ons from everything I've read as the issue is closer to the engine than that (in this very thread). But nicer noise I suppose is worth a bit.

Cr0ft,, it's looking like I'll just have settle for the stock pipes, maybe after market tips,, NEED more sound at the least. Thanks

Are ur D&D's chrome or polished, DO you have a video uploaded , possibly?

Yes, they are chrome and as soon as I can figure out how to download a video clip from my iPad to the site I will hook you up.

Nice, they look great , the shop I work with doesn't care for the sound on sportbikes , so my only concern now is how they sound on a rocket. Pipes are all I lack to get back on the road, I was running the the triumph slip ons but they're not near loud enough.

Well, don't go too loud, overly loud is just antisocial. A nice rumble is fine, but the (frankly) dickheads riding around with straight pipes annoy the hell out of me. Noise laws exist for a reason.

Not what I have in mind, I do want motorists to hear me before they don't see ME .

I liked my straight pipes with out baffels everyone as a opinion there like butt holes everyone has one and they all stink

I just need some pipes, wish I could get my hands on the Jardines .!!!
