I am looking for someone in the US- preferably close to Indiana or TN who has changed to floorboards and would be interested in doing it again. I have no idea what I am doing and will pay someone to do it for me.

The instruction sight no longer has the instructions for floorboard installation. However, I'm going through the exact same thing right now and have started a thread that hopefully will be updated soon as I work out some part issues... Mine are the standard rails, going on a '12 R3R...

If I can do it myself - so can you!

Big Daddy I have been following Cads change over and so far I have notice that the best alternative is to use Classic floor board rails as the guy in OZ used. I have a busy schedule my last seven days before I retire and then have my fourth shoulder surgery the 2 of January ,but I will try to get a chance to measure the difference between the two rails so it is easier for people to judge what they are getting. Personally in my opinion I do not see any reason why either cannot be added to the roadster. Cad noticed a shifter alignment problem so the first thing I would check to see is if the standard floor board kit was originally set up to use the heel & toe shifter. if so I believe he just has to work out the linkage stuff. it could be the standard floor board kit was not meant to have the heal toe shifter. Of course I am just thinking out loud here. I do have a classic but I also have a complete classic kit with the rails and a complete set of the standard rails with pegs that I can compare. I am just busy working my last seven days straight before I retire the 31st, and as Cad probably knows the holidays can get quite unruly in a prison especially if your Duty Officer.
But anyway where are you in Indiana?

I thought the standard had floorboard option as well??? That was my understanding. The standard had steeply angled footboards and the classic was flatter or am I mixing terminology?

And there are two different heel / toe shifters. One is flatter for the Classic boards and the other has a higher offset angle for the steeper boards

I am not sure about different heal and toe shifters but your right about the standard option which came after or on the same time as the classics came out in 06 the only standard I seen still had the toe shifter on it. He was in Maggie Valley and had a 05 with 06 tins and floor board kit on it. He was amazed as I was the only one who noticed it was not a classic. Thank god I still had my wits about me as there was plenty or corn on that trip :D
