question to the group

I listen to tunes with an .mp3 player and Shure in ear monitors - like earbuds, but higher quality and have memory foam plugs for isolation. Even if I'm not listening to music, I use them to protect my hearing when I'm riding.

I have a stockpile of Sansa Sandisk players - they're about the only decent quality mp3 players you can still get that have actual buttons on them rather than a touch screen, so you can start, stop, skip track and adjust volume by touch.

No music on the Roadster but I do enjoy it on the Indian Roadmasterwith it’s six speaker system. I choose a bike for the mood I’m in.

I've always said that riding M/C's is good for relationships.
Think about this, you and your Girl/Wife/ partner are having a verbal !
Now if you get in the Car and go somewhere, you can easily carry on that verbal "discussion"

Now if instead you got on the bike and went for a ride, well ya can't talk so by the time you get to your destination, enough time has gone by that you've both cooled down some.
AND, you've been for a ride :D

And if that doesn't work, you can hammer on the throttle to dump her off.

My wife will only ride the Rocket, because she has a backrest,my fault. We went for a ride on my Sprint once, getting on, she asked what the grab rails on the seat were for, I said just something to hang on to, without a thought. Now anyone in the world, rider or not, has seen a million times, even if just pictures, a girl on the back holding on to a guy. But my wife is very blonde, and very literal. On a straight, I said, hang on, and did a 60=120 or so, and back to 60 blast as we approached a bar we were going to for lunch. When we got off she looked really sick and shaken, I hadn't noticed she hadnt put her arms around me, she thought she was supposed to hang on to the rails on the side of the seat, she said the wind blast pushed her horizontal off the back of the bike, scaredest she'd ever been in her life, almost threw up in her helmet.Says she still gets sick to her stomach if she goes near that bike.

I see ladies riding on the worst back seat situations possible. I saw one drunk ole tramp get on the rear fender of a bike with a single seat and ride off. Some accommodations are not only uncomfortable but down right dangerous. If you love her get her a nice comfortable safe place to ride.
