question to the group

I see ladies riding on the worst back seat situations possible. I saw one drunk ole tramp get on the rear fender of a bike with a single seat and ride off. Some accommodations are not only uncomfortable but down right dangerous. If you love her get her a nice comfortable safe place to ride.
I got Corbins for the K1200 and the Sprint, one backrest can switch between both

My Roadster is a single rider machine. Mt wife can ride her own.

I'm jealous, I asked my wife if she wanted to learn, she said are you crazy, I crashed the lawnmower twice mowing the lawn

If its any consolation back in 2005 when I bought my Fatboy the wife swore up and down she would get her license and ride if I got her a bike. Bought her a brand new 2005 RoadKing Custom. When it arrived she was afraid and wouldn't even sit on it. I rode it for 500 miles and then sold it for a $3000 loss. Same happened earlier but with Seadoo's. I bought two. However this time she actually rode that for a while but another waste of money in the end. Only way I buy her a trike is make it just the way I would want it so if she bails again I can keep it.:) I know...I'm an idiot who never learns.:(

My wife was interested, took the MSF class, and I got her an older Vulcan 900 classic. She did ride it around the circle drive and once onto the street. Around this time an early vrod showed up on craigslist not running for a looow price. I went listened the the owners tale of woe regarding the local harley house. Got the price down even more. Took it home, found a broke ground wire in fuel pump/sender module. Wife rode bike declared she liked it better than the Vulcan so new tires, bearings at head, wheels and belt pulley, new pads and rotors, plugs, filters, fresh fuel pump, and even an extra set of tins. She rode again and declared "I just don't feel safe on two wheels"

I went to the MSF can-am course with her before buying that. She really does like it, although recent health challenges (mostly overcome) are keeping her off it.

On Topic - the Sena FM reception sucks

Another Sena user here. I got ram mount for my phone right over the gauges. Listen to music while Waze tells me what route to take in order to avoid most of the nonsense.

A friend said I should get an intercom for riding with my wife, I said anyone tells her that such a thing exists and they're a dead man.

My bride used to comment how I couldn't hear her when we were two-up... I just smiled... and she got "us" a helmet system a short time later... Now, that she has her own bike it works out pretty well. I do enjoy streaming XM and the verbal Google map directions when I'm in heavy traffic in an unknown city.
