I had a nail puncture very early on and did not even know except that the tyre started to wear on one side only in wide scollaping.. Turned out I was riding a flat tyre for weeks! By then decision to replace was a no brainer.

But just to confuse you it so concerned me that I had many negative thoughts like the one above you complain of and was very thankful to the Lord above an angel protected me. Imagine the tyre shreddin on a twister at 100k's!!

Currently I aim to sell my bike because I.m not flush with money and the whole tyre thing is too much.

So a survival story, indicating the tyre has a remarkeable ability to hold together but when it goes so do you!! And yet for me prudence has proved too costly. Guess I.m alive to tell the tale and I.ll be flush again and may reinvest in this amazing power experience.

Just remember the horsepower going into that one big mother Tyre, bit like the Jesus Bolt on a Chopper.

Cheers Happy Trumpy Rider

If you put a tire sealant like Ride-on in your tires you don't get a flat nor have to do anything to fix one. Rider magazine put 7 (or 9) nails in a tire that had this in it and it lost less than 2 lbs. of air and kept going.
