i suppose i should update this.....
my dealership decided to honor the price of 13999 as thats what the website said when i made my offer. (2011 roadster)
my offer was 500 under sticker so im getting my matte black for 13500.
they also said i can get any accessories for 20% off at time of purchase.
expected arrival is end of march.
After you buy what accessories you want at purchase and the 20% is no longer honored there at your selling dealer, Gengras Triumph parts dept will give you 20% off just for asking, usually more if you beg. I've never set foot in the place but have been buying ALL of my Triumph stuff from them. I can almost guarantee that they will beat any other dealers prices and they don't whack you over the head on shipping either. If it's something that's been sitting on the shelf for awhile they almost give it away, I love those guys.

i looked at their on line prices and the stuff i wanted was abt 20% off list. i think it was them anyway.
the stuff im thinking of getting is tors, flyscreen, summer shield, radiator cover, black mirrors and maybe jacket, gloves and boots. the good part is i would be able to finance that into the purchase price.
good to know other options. thanks

Definitely take full advantage of the discount while you can, especially if you want to put some of it in the loan. But soon after you start riding it awhile you undoubtedly will desire something else out of the Triumph goody bag. Gengras has been my go-to dealer for parts for three years now and I recommend them every chance I get, just keep the name around for future reference.
