OK, to summarize: You took the Triumph Auxilliary Power Outlet (or its equivalent) and installed it where your Ignition Switch used to be (assuming you've relocated the Ignition Switch with a Rivco (or equivalent) kit). Nice touch- otherwise, pretty wasted space up there, huh? 8)

What did you use to secure it in that space?

I had that little rubber piece with the stupid chrome disk that came with the relocation kit but that flew off down the highway 50k miles ago and now I just have a hole that shoots water into my face when it rains.

I've got the Kury bar mount cig lighter (don't smoke, everyone else does) but this looks better for cleaning up the bars a bit more and getting it out of sight. I rarely use it to charge my phone anyway so something up and out of the way that will also block the stream of water would be perfect.

Oh, well... That was:

Nice one I never moved my ignition switch so I just drilled a larger hole where the Triumph outlet went and slapped a water resistant cig lighter in it. Got mine from JC Whitney for a boat. I used to smoke but now I just charge the cell, Blue tooth scalda, and I always carry a compressor and Tire plugs. Of course I have not had to plug my tires as of yet but there is a couple elderly people I rescued and fixed their car tires in the Lowes parking lot. I hate puginng a bike tire but in an emergency it beats walking down the road.

I just installed a Powerlet in the stock power panel, run a short powerlet cord to my tank bag. Then I tie phone, etc into the tank bag. My ignition switch has been good and I got long arms so I haven't seen the need to move the ignition.
