potential R3 owner

Hi Wildchild:

I just picked mine up two weeks ago in Monticello, MN. From what dealer did you get yours?

I ordered the matte black right when it was announced last winter and then had a long wait. The crappy spring here made it easier. When it did come, however, it was the gloss black with the red stripes. Instead of waiting for who knows how long for the matte, I took the gloss. It's certainly looks great too.

Enjoy the new ride! I'm going to sit down here and write a review with my impressions so far.

Unbelievable! Talk about coincidences! I bought the one at Belle Plaine. Mike is a great guy to do business with. And here I thought I was going to have the only R3R in Minnesota with the red stripes! I looked at what Moon Motorsports had as well as Motoprimo and St. Paul Triumph. I really liked the gloss black and the stripes, so went with Belle Plaine. We'll have to meet up when I get mine and ride. Congrats to you!

No two strips of plastic tape mean .... nothing .... other than Triumph can keep the price of Rockets down by not painting them on as for Hanso and his annoying and seemingly endless red this ... red that .. you'll just learn to ignore it like the rest of us . Congrats on the new bike purchase

Great! I'll definitely be up for a ride, especially evening rides during the week.

I met Mike at Belle Plaine and also talked with him at the bike show last winter. He does seem cool guy. Have you been to any of his ride nights? I got on his email list and will probably show up at one some time.

Yeah, I knew it was plastic, but I digg it As for the price of these power plants, I would think the price would be higher for the amount and quality of bike you get. We're lucky Triumph doesn't charge per cubic inch or none of us could afford one!
