potential R3 owner

I ride a standard 2005 Rocket III....Bought it New:D

I have had quite a few issues with mine...some was pretty serious:mad:

92 in a 55 mph zone:eek:

1 C&R.....:confused: Cop said the wheelie in 1st gear might have been OK..But the one in 2nd gear just was too much. Cops has no sence of humor

Like was said before.... it loves to eat tires.

Oh and one battery and one headlight bulb...just this week on the light bulb:p

have had a lot of fun on mine and a special road on the way to work if the police is there with radar i will will probably go to jail.
well i might as well say it. mine is black and red does that make it the badddddest. probably not i have an extra large windsheild.

Have to agree with joey on this one...most common problem is speeding tickets
 
Sold my V2K on Friday. Bittersweet, but hey, I'm getting a R3R!!! Using the down time to see what's out there and for how much. I really want the 2013 because of beefed up power . I'll post pics when I get 'er. Could be as late as first part of August...nevertheless, I'm getting one.

Can someone clarify something for me? Is the 2013 beefed up more so than the '12, '11, '10 and so on, or are those year models equally as powerful? Somewhere I heard or read that the '13 model had been beefed up. Thanks a ton!!
 
'13 has the same engine as all other year models. Supposedly Triumph changed the tune to eliminate the de-tuning they had been putting on the rocket. Either one you decide on can be "beefed up" beyond your wildest imagination.
