Possible tps issue?

Not on Android, and the option is only available in Android.

Disconnecting the ISCV is the poor man's way of doing the same thing. If you have more money, and inclination, you could have a phone, pay for TuneECU plus the LonElec cable. Yet a different approach is to replace the stepper motor -- which I elected to do -- just makes me feel better thinking most of the bike is working the way it should.

Exactly why mine is still in place, because why not? If it ever fails, yeah, I'll probably disable it but till then...

I will note, for the time being, the freeware version 2.5.8 continues to run on my updated Win10 laptop. Of course, I'm living on borrowed time. I used the laptop infrequently, and I have to schedule my use of it, because every time I turn it on, it wants to download the latest updates, and that can take a while sometimes. With that activity, I'm running the risk that one time Windows will update, and TuneECU won't work, and at that point, the freeware version will be dead to me. It would be possible to have a dedicated computer that is not used for anything else, and is never updated. That's how some people continue to use some dinosaur old games and such.

Exactly what I've done, an older Asus t100 transformer running windows 8.1, exclusively for TuneECU and PC-V software.

I have it loaded on a laptop, but is the Android version supported? I never downloaded it.

Ok so I had a look at tune base 20228, it isn't an option to simply disable the ISCV.

For pre-roadsters it seems the solution to the 2k surge is adjust ISCV linkage, if that doesn't work, disable ISCV by undoing the linkage.

For Roadsters just turn it off in the software.

Paul; It's not a matter of money it's a matter of knowledge. I have a dedicated old PC and a dedicated Android with the cables and TuneECU running but...
No knowledge. I even have a spare throttle body assembly but... it might not be the right year and not run with my Tune. These bikes were upgraded in bunches and made for the dealer to service them not for the end users to tinkle with. Once you remove the intake restriction tubes the dealers frown if you bring them in for service. I had to beg my dealer to check my secondary tps when I moved it by ignorant error.

The contemporary modern bikes are made to fail if you even look at changing anything in the ECU. This is so in the public's interest by actions of the climate change hoaxers. The least pollution producing bike is a bike that runs well, even if it is tuned to burn richer. In any case, the pollution footprint of my 2300cc bike is much less than my lawn mower. Just think for a minute about the exhaust of an jet liner or a tractor trailer or the rocket burn to launch a satellite.

The design of the fuel control throttle body on our beloved Rockets is it's Achilles heel.

Two throttle body assemblies. Which one fits the 07 Classic? Removing the "linkage" to cancel the idle stepper??? The whole thing comes apart. Not jacking with it. If I do, I will be riding the Valkye for a while. Perhaps the TB with the harness fits the 07 and I can just change out the whole thing. It has all the factory settings untouched. Looks new.

I would think all throttle bodies would be the same, seeing as motors are, but assuming is dangerous, I'd bring everything with you, if you can.
