Ponters RIIIR is home!!!

PONTERS IS A VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!!

Well guys, Just when you thought you'd never hear me saying it........here it comes.........'My engine is finished!' No more mods on the guts front, it is where i want it and (on paper) I have it where I want it. I say on paper because she is not home yet but according to my trusted Dr Lush he has successfully dialling in exactly what I wanted.

For those that keep asking, 'we' ( Nev and I) decided to not try and get as much as we could but instead keep it as smooth and ridable as possible and to all accounts, she is running perfectly.

I've got 184RWHP and 165 ft-lbs torque .....

..

.

at 60% throttle :D:D:p:roll::eek::laugh::thumbsup::thumbsup::cautious::):):)

I've been patiently waiting to see if your performance will match the aesthetics, ponters and it appears to do so except for one little possible mistake. 165 nm of torque equals about 121 foot pounds of torque which at least 10-15 ft. lbs. below the OEM number for older Stds and Classics and even further below the factory torque outputs for the Roadster and Touring models.

What's up with that? I think that you meant 165 foot pounds, n'est pas?

So are you actually claiming 307 RWHP???:oops::roll::evil:

Nah mate, I think the introduction of red into the paint scheme has slowed it down a bit but now it is PRETTIER as red bikes are. Thank fully Ive kept enough black to keep the speed up;)

Your on the rite path mate.
You should send that pic to Triumph. F_ckers will scratch their heads on the 2017 models.

Lushy just laughed when I asked him about the performance of the enhanced engine .. that maniacal speed freak kind of laugh , numbers are one thing .. Lushy laughing like that is another all together ;)

LOL, Yes, you'd be correct in saying that about the figures i posted, only difference is, thats at 60% throttle. Given thats where I spend most of my riding 60% throttle was important to me. Also My mistake, it is 165.15 ft-lbs at 60% not nm.

no mate, turned it back down to 253 rwhp at about 7000- 8500rpm so she keeps reliable and cool enough. He could have gotten more but I wanted to keep it rich enough so i don't have reliability issues and as the DR says...dont worry too much about the dyne sheet, try and hold on then talk to me! LOL

Just jerking your chain, Mate.

Throttled her back to a modest 253 did ya?!?!?
Holy $hit!
Beautiful AND fast!
