Pacific North West Rocket Meet

Some of our Washington state Captains are in the process of organizing a ride event near Packwood, WA.

Time frame will be mid-July to mid-August

They need to get some approximate numbers to finalize the planning.

Anyone interested in attending, please post a message to that effect here.

Also, if you have preferred date(s) post them.......they will be considered within the planning phase.

More details to follow as things progress....

I rode through Packwood WA in August - hwy 123/410 to Naches is a great road and probably great views Mt Rainier if the clouds clear!

Conflicting Events???

The first weekend in June 1-4th (following Memorial Day)is reserved for my trip to Arizona for the SouthWestTriumphFest in Prescott.The 3rd weekend in July19-22 is reserved for the 10th annual Rat Raid in Nelson,B.C. Both events are attended by several Triumph Riders here in western Washington and Montana.Booking other weekends would eliminate any conflict with schedule.The TRAP Riders from Portland have 2 events in the summer and a Rat Raid in Baker City the weekend following Labor Day(sept7-9)
Season Opener First weekend of June in Yreka, CA

Summer Scorcher (T.R.A.P. Volcano Raid) Last weekend of July in Packwood, WA

Baker City Weekend after Labor Day in Baker City, OR

I don't think you would object to the last week in July @ Packwood when you could meet with your T.R.A.P. mates. You could be with us or them or maybe us with them or them with us.

I'm sorry if this sounds sarcastic, but we are trying to get a SALVO put together and do need input from regional and distant R3 riders.
The last west coast Salvo was near 30+ Rockets and 70 people at Lk Tahoe several years ago.

I posted my 2 scheduled events for 2012(Arizona in June and Nelson in July)..the last weekend of July works fine for me in Packwood.I socialize with the Trap guys on occasion but the majority are Bonne/america/speed/thuxton riders..only 2-3 Rocket guys and they dont always show up.We can meet up with them at the NWRat luncheon at the Rib-Eye Restaurant for the 2012 NW Rat Lunch in Chehalis April 29th.If we have an event poster for Salvo,I will be glad to pass it on.There are usually 3-4 Rocket captains from the Tacoma Rat pack in attendance also.I will be in Packwood the last weekend of July..you can count on me and I will ride with my kind..the Rockets!

Awesome. I ride hwy 20 to Winthrop a few times every summer and enjoy all eastern washington... would be great with other r3s... Packwood area is awesome to, Drove with my GTO club to the car show there once and wished I was on my r3 the whole time.
