Pistol carrier

Just once I wish I could ride with a shotgun strapped to my back. Just to see if drivers show some road courtesy.

I know that a 9" Super Blackhawk Bisley in a belt holster seemed to get the idiots attention around here. Can't imagine that a scatter gun across the back wouldn't do at least that well:thumbsup:

Knew one knuckle head years ago that rode his chopper from Md. to a shoot that we were having in Northern VA with a 1928A1 in a scabbard on his forks. Said it was the smoothest trip down the beltway that he had ever taken.

He was a class III license holder and it was the real deal. Told me to bring as many rounds of 45acp as I could carry, he had a surprise. :D:D

I always have mine on my hip but I can tell you that it does hurt when you land on it. I had a large bruise when I did. The Sig and holster were fine.

You're lucky it didn't shift a few inches to the rear during the get off. Your bruise could have become a broken back. Two pounds of steel is not very forgiving.

Or pleasant having it removed from .. well you know. Perhaps down the front of your jeans is in fact not the WORST possible place to 'conceal' a pistol :x3:

No. The shirt fits tight...like underarmour so it holds the gun tight to your body. The padding on the inside (between body and gun) prevents it from gouging you, but it can get a little bit sweaty if its too warm out

When I ride I use a Sneaky Pete to carry a Kahr CM9.

Rest of the time I carry 1911's; usually IWB in a Brommeland Max-Con V.

I have them in three 1911 sizes; this is the Commander sized one:

Had a friend back in the '60's that kept his Thompson behind the seat of his Ford Ranchero.

Probably the most finely machined SMG ever made.

I find it interesting that many carry such expensive pieces of equipment. Should one be involved in a traffic accident, or much worse an encounter involving the use of deadly force (or the threat thereof), they would likely lose that firearm at least temporarily.

Personally I prefer to carry what I consider disposable weapons in my vehicles and when riding. Usually a Glock or an S&W 642. The Kimber and the Sig P220 SAS stay safe at home.

My Kimber doesn't usually go on rides I was just trying out the 511 undershirt today. I usually ride with a Sig P238 strapped to my ankle
