when i bought the bike i sent it straight to my performance shop.
he did the TORS, crossover pipe, secondaries, 3 k and n, and gipro. it also has a PC5 set to zero map.
i didnt ride it b4 the work was done, but the perf shop owner did. (hes a good friend of mine) he said the bike is night and day diff....
anyway, i put 250 miles on it this weekend and i love it.
one thing...we didnt tune it yet but it runs very smooth. my buddy says it doesnt act like its lean at all and didnt think it needed tuning.
what do u guys think? i know we have to retune after this kind of work and i plan to. even just to check everything out, but it does run well as it stands.

Congrats on the '11. Lots of folks will chime in on the need for more tuning. I've had trouble finding a shop that has a dyno that really knows what they're doing on a triple. They might know what to do on a V-twin but not a triple.

I also discovered that the shop that does have a dyno needs to have leased the "Tuning Module" from Power Commander. That module allows the shop to instruct the program what AF mixture and then it will automatically set the proper ratio. Saves time and money. The lease is about $1000 per year but it's sure worth it to folks having their bike dyno'ed.

Good luck.

I don't know anything about the new PCV's but if it was a PCIII I'd say have it tuned.

It's very difficult to recognize lean ... engines run very well when lean. Damage done from being too lean is done over time and doesn't occur overnight.
